Pentingnya Pengaplikasian Teknologi Informasi Pendidikan untuk Meningkatkan Keterlibatan Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Di MTsN 2 Kolaka

Abstract


This study aims to evaluate the application of educational information technology in an effort to improve student engagement at MTsN 2 Kolaka. In this digital era, the use of technology in education has become an urgent need to improve learning effectiveness. This research uses a quantitative type with a phenomenological approach to see the level of student engagement in the learning process using educational information technology. Data were collected through direct observation and interviews with students and teachers as well as documentation. The results show that the use of educational information technology significantly increases students' engagement in the learning process. Students become more active, motivated, and involved in learning activities. This finding has positive implications for the development of learning strategies in schools, especially in the use of technology to support the educational process. Thus, the use of educational information technology at MTsN 2 Kolaka can be used as a model for other schools to improve student engagement and quality of learning.
