Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi di MTs AL Wahdah Islamiyah Kendari
Abstract
Education is a long-term investment in human resources. Education has a strategic value for the continuity of human civilization in the world. Because education is a foundation for humans from birth to death. So, almost all countries place the variable of education as something important and primary in the context of national and state development. Indonesia places education as something important and primary. The benefits of information technology to improve education in Islam and enlighten the mindset of Generation Z by using information technology media. The world of information technology now and in the future provides many choices for everyone. No exception for Islamic Religious Education Teachers (GPAI). Examples of e-dukasinet/internet-based learning, use of telematics, e-learning, blogs, multimedia resources centers, learning technology through comics, and video conferencing. Some examples of the use of technology that can be utilized in Islamic Religious Education learning at MTs Al Wahdah Islamiyah Kendari are: 1) visual technology, 2) audio technology, 3) visual-audio-based technology, 4) internet-based technology. All of this can be used by GPAI in improving the quality of Islamic religious education. Seeing the condition of humanity in pursuing education, because Islam requires its people to be educated/knowledgeable people, have good morals and are pious to the Almighty Creator, Allah SWT.
