Abstract

In the digital age, the utilization of information technology has significantly transformed school administration, including in Indonesian madrasahs. This research explores the implementation of information technology, specifically E-Forms and e-mail, in school administration, and its compliance with relevant legal regulations. Through a review of legal frameworks and policies, the study identifies key regulations governing the use of information technology in schools, such as Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP) and Law No. 19 of 2016 on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE). The research employs a qualitative and descriptive approach with case studies to gather data on the application of E-Forms and e-mail in school administration. The study highlights three primary areas of technology use: student registration, home address and parent data collection, and extracurricular activities. Findings indicate that E-Forms enhance efficiency, accuracy, and data security in administration, improving registration processes, data collection, and coordination of extracurricular activities. E-mail plays a crucial role in communication, registration confirmation, and administrative management, accelerating processes and increasing transparency. Overall, the adoption of information technology supports a more modern, effective, and responsive school management system. This research concludes that, with proper implementation in accordance with legal regulations, information technology can revolutionize school administration, offering significant benefits in efficiency, security, and communication.
